Surprise Visit from Fam

Josh's brother and his family stopped by too after we got home from Arizona since they were in the City doing some shopping. It was great to see all of them! I can't wait until we meet the newest edition!

Aunt April Visits

April came to visit after we got back from Arizona. It was great to get to see her of course! Casen had fun with her. They were fast friends.

Baking Cookies with Immie

Making sugar cookies is a tradition in my family. My mom wanted to make cookies with Case so they did that New Year's Eve. Case was more interested in trying to eat the cookie dough, especially since he hadn't had too many bites of sweet stuff. They made little hand-shaped cookies.

Fun at Gram's

We spent a night with Gram in December. We had a fun night visiting, watching TV together, and watching Case play with Bubba. Something happened to Casen's pants. I can't remember what. I had forgotten pajamas so Casen wore some knee-high socks (like pants) to keep his legs warm.

Casen's Fun 'N Games

Back in June, my dad made a taco with Casen in it. A taco is a blanket folded with the baby (or whoever) being carried in it. I walked into my living room (probably from working on my dissertation in my room), and said, "Dad has my baby in a taco!" Of course, when it occurred again in December with the help of my mom, I said it again. Casen as you can see, loves it!

In December, Case discovered that if he dived off his grandparents' bed, I would catch him.
Great.
But he hasn't tried again so hopefully he understands that I have to be right there to actually be able to catch him.

Tucson Snow and Grandparent Pics

In December, we drove up to Tucson to visit our friends Tyler and Margot and their children. They got to meet Case, and we got to meet their newest edition. It was so good to see them. Tyler and Josh were in graduate school together. It snowed when we got into Tucson. That was Casen's first snow where he was outside in it (funny that it was in Tucson!). It did snow the day after Case was born, but seeing we were in the hospital, I don't count that.
